Next Generation Learning
A lot of learning fails to take account of the needs of the user, their limited attention span or human memory capacity. Our Next Generation Learning methodology addresses all of these issues and has been adopted by organisations like the BBC, Roche, Diageo and multiple UN agencies.
Our Next Generation Learning methodology divides:
1. Knowledge into what we need participants to immediately recall and what it’s OK for them to look up in a few seconds.
2. Skills into high-risk and low-risk based on the impact to the individual and the organisation.
3. Behaviours and attitudes into those that are easy and hard for the audience to adopt.
We then design and structure the learning experience accordingly to make it human-centred, lean, brain-friendly and focussed on impact.

We then move to execution, rigorously testing the solution with target users and refining it based on pilot results before final deployment. We then evaluate the results, measuring the solution's impact against the specific behavioural outcomes defined in Step 1 to ensure a clear, evidence-based return on investment. By focusing on behaviour change and using the right performance levers, our human-centred approach ensures we avoid over-engineering a solution. What types of digital learning solutions do you design and develop?
We design and build a wide spectrum of digital learning experiences. These include microlearning modules, online tutorials, performance support tools, complex apps, rich resource hubs, immersive scenarios, business simulations, blended learning programmes, and interactive learning games.
What learning methodologies do you use?
We use a blend of well-regarded methodologies and approaches, as well as our own proprietary approaches. This includes models like Kirkpatrick’s Levels of Evaluation for assessing impact, Design Thinking, Action Mapping and our own modified version of ADDIE - DRIVE.
Our internally developed Next Generation Learning methodology, honed over years, helps us to strategically categorise content based on its impact on risk, desired behaviours and attitudes to ensure maximum effectiveness. This methodology has been adopted by L&D teams in many of our customers and is the basis for several of our Gold award-winning projects.

How is your team structured? Who would we work with?
Our team is headed by Founder, Rob Hubbard and Director, Tess Robinson. You will have a designated LAS Project Manager as your main point of contact, overseeing our multidisciplinary team of experts, including learning designers, graphic and UX designers, developers and quality assurance experts. We have a core team of 10 and a wider team of 30-40 specialists who we bring in as needed. We promise that you won’t get passed on to a junior team once the work is won, you’ll work with our best people throughout your project.
