At this time of year we always choose three charities to donate a proportion of our profits to. The charities are nominated by LAS team members. This year we are really proud to support the following charities:
Second Sight is a small charity working to restore the sight of the rural poor, in the state of Bihar in India. In their 25 year history they have saved the sight of over 650,000 people and have prevented countless others going blind from eye disease through early detection and prevention. This blog post from renowned photographer, Jenny Matthews, beautifully illustrates their important work.
